It can hurt when bingo goes wrong – whether it’s one game or the formation of a new playing community.
However, Richmond City Council in San Jose, California, isn’t letting one bad experience put it off its game.
This is according to the San Jose Mercury News, which reports that the authority has determined it will once again open up a bingo hall in the city, following the collapse of one installed in March.
Chuck Maven, a Virginia-based businessman has declared he will start up the facility for a nightly fee, offering its services to charities in the area as well.
The previous property, designed to support American war veterans, had to be closed after news emerged that the proprietor had a criminal past.
Meanwhile, the Birmingham News recently ran an article celebrating a bingo hall in its area.
It’s nice to see a plan coming together, isn’t it?
Stay lucky, bingo fans.
