One firm has identified what it considers to be a gap in the market by launching a new device designed to produce the drink first thing, the Daily Mail reports.
The publication said: "It appears that the teasmade could have the last laugh with a turbo charged revamp that promises to give it a new lease of life."
Lakeland has created the Swan Teasmade, which features a backlit LCD alarm clock, reading light and rapid boil function.
The machine is also able to make coffee for those who prefer a stronger refreshment in to get their day started.
Wendy Miranda, a spokeswoman for the kitchenware specialist, which is headquartered in Windamere, Cumbria, noted that the business is always searching for new and innovative products.
The tea-making contraption may be the perfect way for bingo fans to begin their days, as the newspaper noted that the beverage can help improve people’s health.
