There is nothing more that I love than settling down to a game of bingo and a new documentary proves that I am not alone.

Called Jackpot, the Canadian production explores the world of hard-core players of the pastime, the Globe and Mail reports.

Made by Alan Black, it provides a glimpse into the game and is described by the publication as "beautiful".

It is based around a number of devoted players who spend many of their days and nights at a bingo hall in Toronto – which is the largest city in the country and is located in Ontario.

The film points out that even during these tough economic times, the bingo lovers keep streaming into the club, "each vying for the daily grand prize".

Two of those featured in the film are a middle-aged couple who met playing bingo.

Meanwhile, another star is a 91-year-old called Margaret who has been involved in the game for longer than she can remember.

Are you fanatical about bingo?

Keep playing, bingo lovers
