I’ve been to my fair share of weddings, but never one held in a bingo hall.
Friends and relatives of Patti Smith and Greg Daugherty will not be able to say the same thing soon, as the pair plan to tie the knot in this way, the York Daily Record reports.
Commenting on their decision, Ms Smith said: "We wanted to do something different and this is different. We thought it would be unique to have a bingo wedding."
Her daughter, 19-year-old Tiffany, plans to stand at her side during the event, which is due to take place on Saturday (June 26th).
The ceremony is even being scheduled around the game so that it does not interfere with play.
Ms Smith and Mr Daugherty had known each other for years and got together in 2000 after she split up from her ex.
Although they have different tastes, they say they have grown to like the same things over the time they have been a couple.
Recently, fellow bingo fans gathered in Cleveleys to watch the demolition of a hall, the Blackpool Gazette reported.
