I love a few rounds of bingo as a way to relax on a break from work or when I get home, but it seems some individuals are playing the game as part of their jobs.
Brothers Marc and Alex Gordon have been using the pastime to encourage businessmen and women to network, the Journal reports.
They run Network North and decided to introduce a form of bingo to their offering so that people can get to know one another in a fun and informal way.
Marc stated: "I thought I can put a networking spin on it. It gets people talking. It’s about meeting people and talking to them."
The bingo networking is said to work best if at least 20 individuals are playing and rules have been introduced that mean users collect the business cards of their competitors.
Meanwhile, bingo fans in Scotland recently enjoyed a lucky escape when the roof of the pavilion they were in collapsed without warning.
Have you met people playing bingo?
Keep playing, bingo fans.
