A bingo fan from Shipley, Yorkshire, is celebrating her 103rd birthday today (April 29th).
Annie Webster, who now lives in the Sunningdale Care Home near Bradford, loves to sit down and play a game of bingo and also enjoys challenging herself with wordsearches, reported the Telegraph and Argus.
To mark her birthday, Annie is holding a birthday party which her friends and family.
Pictured in the paper holding a bingo card, Annie is described as a "lovely woman" by Sunningdale Care Home manager Amanda Ryan.
Throughout her life, Annie has often enjoyed a spot of dog racing as well as playing cards, the newspaper noted. During the war, the bingo fan worked at Crofts & Shaws making ammunition.
Celebrity fans of bingo include Geordie princess Cheryl Cole, star of Friends Courtney Cox and party-loving heiress Paris Hilton. The latter pair have both taken on bingo calling roles in the name of charity at bingo events.
