You bingo bonkers lot certainly are a charitable bunch – it seems like every day I’m giving you the ins and outs of one group of fans who are doing their bit for those less fortunate.
And this time it’s the turn of staff at a bingo hall in Plymouth, who are set to embark on a 15-and-a-half mile walk to raise money for Marie Curie Cancer Care, the Plymouth Herald reports.
The event – which will see members of staff walk from Princetown right to the door of the bingo hall – is hoped to go some way towards that charity’s nationwide annual fundraising target of £200,000.
Good on you!
Yesterday (April 15th), I brought to you the rather bizarre fundraising efforts of those across the pond in Bend, Oregon.
To raise money for charity people in the town will see a game of cow pat bingo take place, with three cows let loose onto a field divided into grids.
Keep wacky, bingo fans.
