It must be hard being a bingo manager – I think sitting there watching everyone have fun playing your favourite game night after night must be absolute hell.
But one manager of a bingo hall in Brierley Hill near Dudley has beaten a whopping 123 fellow professionals to the title of Manager of the Year, Dudley News reports.
After scoring top marks for leadership qualities and customer service skills, Terry Connelly has been treated to a fantastic holiday in Marrakech, as well as a glittering trophy.
Terry, who has worked in the bingo industry for an impressive 26 years, says: "It was great to be given the award and to have been recognised by my colleagues in this way."
It would appear the bingo boss is something of an expert in the field, as he also won the accolade back in 1997.
Ken Henry recently told BBC News that despite winning a monumental £12.8 million on the lottery, he will still be returning to his job as a bingo caller.
I’m not surprised he can’t stay away!
Do you know anyone who works in the bingo industry?
Keep playing, bingo fans.
