What would you do if you won £25,000 in a game of bingo?

Go shopping for a new designer wardrobe, splash the cash on a fantastic luxury holiday or blow it all on a top of the range sports car I’m sure would all be popular answers.

But one recent bingo winner has proved just what a kind-hearted soul she is by donating a portion of her winnings to the John Radcliffe Hospital Paediatric Intensive Care Unit in Oxford, Bingo Paradise reports.

Myra Carbin explained that her six-year-old daughter had heart bypass surgery at the hospital when she was just six weeks old and she wanted to donate the cash so that other children could be helped by the fantastic staff there.

Penny Hambridge, the hospital’s children’s development officer, said that they were "very grateful" for the donation and as a consequence, will be able to purchase more potentially life-saving equipment.

I am absolutely convinced that celebrity bingo fans Cheryl Cole, Denise van Outen and Catherine Zeta Jones would be just as charitable as Myra if they scored a big win.

Would you donate to charity if you won £25,000?

Stay generous, bingo fans.
