Veritable tea fans such as ourselves need to own a nice set of crockery to serve our favourite beverage from and what better way to do this than with a set of cups and saucers that wouldn’t look out of place in what is anticipated to be one of this season’s hottest films.
Alice and Wonderland-themed tea party accessories seem to be ubiquitous at the moment but luckily for us, the Press and Journal has picked out the cream of the crop.
Wedgwood at Debenhams has a beautiful china Harlequin Queen of Hearts teapot, which is both elegant and fun.
Similarly, the Blaue Blume tableware collection at Undergrowth Design offers a quirky range of accessories to make the perfect Alice in Wonderland tea party.
Instead of normal handles, cute cups from this range feature pairs of legs with stilettos, while a cake plate is engraved with Eat Me in gold lettering.
As if we needed any encouragement!
This has got me thinking about who I might invite to a tea party – I was thinking Lady Gaga would make an interesting guest and seeing as she carries a tea cup and saucer with her everywhere she goes, I wouldn’t even have to provide the crockery.
Who would you invite to a tea party?
Keep quirky, tea lovers.
