With Christmas out of the way for another year, many people’s thoughts turn to when they can get away from it all and escape to a hot climate.
For tea-lovers such as myself, one of the dilemmas that we are faced with when holidaying abroad is where we can get our hands on a good brew.
But fear not tea-loving fans, the answer could be around the corner – the Sydney Morning Herald has suggested that iced tea may be the perfect drink to cool you down in warm weather.
While this might not be suitable for the freezing temperatures that we’re experiencing in the UK, it’s certainly worth bearing in mind as a tasty alternative to our favourite beverage if you’re in need of whetting your whistle when in sunnier climes.
The paper even adds that on one Sydney hotspot – Balmoral Beach – concoctions such as liquorice Buddha’s brew and lemon grass iced tea are on the menu at Bathers’ Pavillion.
Anyone fancy a holiday to Australia?
Hopefully tea-lover Alexandra Burke will be taking a well-earned break this year. Maybe she’ll sample a cup of iced tea?
Keep drinking, tea lovers.
