Tea lovers all over the world can come together over their favourite drink in an event that is set to mark the 2010 Winter Olympics in Vancouver.

I’m chuffed to see in the Vancouver Sun that the brew is regarded as important enough to base a public art work around.

Tea fanatics such as myself can enjoy a lovely aromatic cuppa from a tea cart that will be placed outside Vancouver’s Gallery A, while video clips of tea parties taking place at the same time in different cities around the globe will be projected onto the outside wall of the gallery.

Now who would I invite to a tea party?

To get the party started I would have to get Lady Gaga along, who has previously described herself as being "addicted" to tea. I’m sure she would have plenty of interesting stories.

I think sharing a cuppa with celebrity tea fans Kate Moss, Anne Hathaway and Victoria Beckham would also make for some interesting conversation.
