What is one of the top items that is recommended for you to have on hand in case of an emergency?
You guessed it – we all need to be able to make ourselves a good brew.
In the wake of the storms that lashed the UK this week, LoveMoney has issued advice on how to assemble to an emergency kit in case crisis hits.
Teabags are listed as an essential, as well as candles, matches and a wind up torch.
It would appear that our favourite drink can get us through just about anything and as Sir Arthur Wing Pinero once said: "Where there’s tea there’s hope".
With more nasty weather on its way it might be wise to hoard those teabags – I will certainly be stocking up on my favourite peppermint tea in the coming winter months!
I’m guessing that celebrity brew lovers Jennifer Aniston, Keira Knightley and Lily Allen will be turning to the teabags straight away in the face of a crisis.
What’s your favourite type of tea to keep you warm and snuggly when it’s cold outside?
Stay safe, stay dry, stay warm
