Most bingo players dream of hitting the jackpot and for one Scottish woman this became a reality when she scooped £1 million.
But, according to the Daily Record, Jean McCullagh’s big win has caused a rift in her family.
Her lucky streak got the champagne flowing in the bingo hall in Glasgow until she decided to keep the cash for herself.
She had wanted to use it to set her daughters up for life.
Apparently the 71-year-old had gone back on a deal to split the winnings with her family.
She had been playing bingo with her sister Margaret Cleugh and two sisters-in-law Jessie and Rose McCullagh.
They issued a joint statement which said: "We agreed before the game we were sharing, not once but twice and again after the win."
Earlier this month a former toiler cleaner had a lucky win when she scooped £23,000 playing bingo.
Thankfully her scoop was problem free and she shared it out between herself and her daughters.
